Easter is a wonderful celebration of new life, the victory that Christ has won for us, and the hope that we have in him.
Join us at St Mark's for our 9am celebration of Christ's resurrection, with Holy Communion. This is a family friendly service, with a children's ministry.
At 11am you can also join with us, and the other churches of Deloraine on the riverbank, where our minister Josh will be preaching.
However you decide to celebrate Easter this year, we pray thatt you know the life and hope offered freely to us by our loving God, through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
I need to constantly remind myself of Paul's words to the Ephesians, but especially when I find myself feeling uncertain about whether something we're trying is going to work or not. God is in control. God is concerned with his Glory. God is at work. God is doing immeasurably more than we can ever hope or imagine.
We saw evidence of this again today as we launched our monthly Family together service. Not knowing what to expect, simply trusting God and committing ourselves to him. We had 14 children, ranging from 18 months to 15 years old, from 6 different families join us as we sang, learnt about the bible, learnt from the bible, and crafted, constructed, played, and prayed our way through the morning.
We are so excited and so humbled, and once more blown away by a God doing so much more than we hope and imagine. If this is what he can do with the little seeds of our faith, just imagine how much he will do as we dream big and continue to follow where he leads.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
